Manta Network Meme Contest Results

About one month ago, we launched the Manta Network Meme Contest as one of our first fun, community events that also involved some great prizes:
- First place wins 500 USDT
- Second place wins 250 USDT
- Third place wins 100 USDT
With this fun activity, we received lots of great entries. One of our investors, CMS, even had fun with this one. One of its Twitter accounts, CMS Intern, provided a high-quality GIF, starring Dave Franco and his crew of magicians:
Overall, we received hundreds of entries to our event. You can view them all by searching #MantaMemes on Twitter. The core team, as well as select investors, advisors, and community leaders, took the time to review the entries. There were many talented pieces, and great memes that also demonstrated Manta Network’s value proposition in a clear, succinct, and funny way. It was a very hard decision for us to make, but we had to make it. Check out the amazing Meme Contest winners below.
3rd Place: Wulansariz
Twitter user Wulansariz’s piece was a simple but mesmerizing GIF that the community fell in love with quickly. In fact, it became a commonly used GIF within our Telegram chats.
2nd Place: Quokka
Twitter user Quokka’s meme design captured many things we liked about memes: informative, illustrative, and, well, meme faces! The meme style that Quokka used was recognizable, as it is a common meme format (three vertical stacks, one better than the last). Quokka also put a unique spin on it by custom-designing a manta ray for each illustration. We love the work that went into this, and also the informational aspects of the meme.
1st Place: Berlins Gas
Twitter user Berlins Gas captured our meme hearts with their unique, hand-drawn meme entry for the contest. While the piece blended elements familiar to that of the meme category (e.g., characters becoming suddenly muscular), it also portrayed a great story highlighting the privacy preservation aspects of Manta Network. Furthermore, it was all drawn by hand! While we received quite a few entries that were also drawn by hand, none captured the creativity and value proposition of Manta Network like this one.
Thank you everyone for participating in our contest. We enjoyed looking through everything, and had many laughs to share. We hope to have more contests like this in the future! Stay tuned.
