Manta Pacific Becomes First Ethereum L2 using Celestia as Modular DA
Following our roadmap released in October, Manta Pacific, the modular L2 ecosystem empowering zero-knowledge (ZK) applications, made history by breaking two key records: becoming the first major Ethereum L2 to use Celestia for Modular Data Availability, and the first L2 to transition to Celestia on mainnet.
As the Manta Pacific ecosystem continues to grow, we are seeing increased transactions and demand on the network. With Celestia underneath, we are able to proactively address rising user demands, directly benefiting all users of Manta Pacific. High-throughput DA also allows Manta Pacific to allocate sequencer revenues to public goods and ecosystem growth initiatives, funding the next wave of applications and fully on-chain use cases enabled by abundant blockspace.
