Manta Partners with TaskOn to Launch zkElite zkSBT

Manta Network, the fastest zero-knowledge layer one protocol focused on on-chain privacy, is pleased to announce a partnership with TaskOn, a platform that boosts the completion for various Web3 tasks in a decentralized way. Through this partnership, Manta Network will provide the TaskOn community members with the ability to mint the zkElite, which are private soul-bound tokens (zkSBTs) that allow users to privately verify their on-chain activities related to TaskOn without compromising any information or data leakage about their on-chain activity.

Qualifying & Minting your zkElite

To mint a zkElite, TaskOn community members must collect TaskOn CAPs. TaskOn CAP (Collaboration Achievement Proof) is an NFT badge minted by TaskOn. It aims to be an easy-use solution for campaign creators and projects to distribute rewards for their users, record users’ engagement and manage them as the on-chain credential of their loyalty system on TaskOn. The Existing On-Chain Identity Problem

With the current state of public blockchains, every on-chain action is recorded, immutable, and fully transparent. While this transparency was originally necessary to provide trustless verifiability, it created many issues around surveillance, non-consenting data access, and, ultimately, an infringement on user safety and security when performing actions on-chain. Fortunately, Manta Network’s implementation of zero-knowledge proofs enables the same on-chain trustless verifiability without the necessity of full on-chain transparency.
