Minting zkGalxe Passport Now Live

Today, Manta Network has officially launched a new zkSBT in partnership with Galxe. Leveraging the existing Galxe Passport, an SBT offered by Galxe as proof of KYC, Manta will allow any Galxe Passport token holders to mint a corresponding, privacy-preserving zkGalxe. The zkGalxe marks a major new milestone in on-chain identity, offering both a level of compliance verification with on-chain privacy benefits, delivered in a decentralized manner that is controlled by the user.
The zkGalxe Passport offers a similar digital verification experience as the Galxe Passport for Galxe users who have completed Identity Verification, but with an additional layer of privacy. The added privacy allows users to verify without revealing their wallet address, assets within the wallet address, or transactions made from the wallet address. With Manta Network’s zkGalxe Passport, users are able to complete proof of their Galxe identity verification in web3 without revealing any information.
About the Galxe Passport
Galxe Passport is a universal identity for Web3 adventures. It stores your identity information securely and anonymously. You can use this as your universal identity across different applications for compliance purposes. You will also get your unique Galxe Passport Soubound Token in your wallet to be distinguished as a verified individual.
Galxe Passport was created to be a secure, private way for users to store data. Users’ private information will be encrypted with their password. These data are only accessible to the user, all others (including Galxe) can only access these data upon the user’s permission. Users who want to obtain a Soulbound Token can do so by going through the verification process on Galxe which will then allow them to mint and claim the Galxe Passport Token.
Privacy-enhanced zkGalxe Passport
If you own a Galxe Passport SBT, you can mint a corresponding zkGalxe Passport through Manta Network’s NPO. By minting the zkGalxe Passport, you obtain all of the verification benefits of the Galxe Passport with an additional privacy enhancement. Verifying your Galxe KYC using the zkGalxe Passport allows you to do so without revealing any other information, such as your wallet address, cryptoassets, NFTs, or on-chain transaction history. Minting Your zkGalxe Passport

Minting a zkGalxe Passport is simple. You can go to the Manta NPO page and connect your BNB Chain compatible wallet, which contains your Galxe Passport SBT. Once Manta Network’s NPO verifies your SBT ownership, you can mint a corresponding zkGalxe Passport. To mint, you also must have the Manta Wallet installed.
Once you have successfully minted your zkGalxe Passport, congratulations! You now have an on-chain, privacy-enhanced credential for verifying your successful Galxe KYC.
