[A Year of Achievements]
The First Ethereum L2 Using Celestia for Modular DA
We made history by becoming the first Ethereum L2 to utilize Celestia for Modular Data Availability (DA) and the first to transition to Celestia on mainnet. This breakthrough has set the standard for modular data solutions in the Ethereum ecosystem.
Top 3 OP Rollup
Despite launching just a year ago, Manta Pacific has consistently ranked among the top 3 OP Rollup according to L2Beat, demonstrating our impact and the trust our users have placed in us.
Record-Breaking TVL and Cost Savings
We reached an all-time high of over $2.4B in Total Value Locked (TVL) during Q1 2024. Additionally, Manta Pacific’s modular framework, leveraging Celestia DA, has saved our users over $10M in gas fees.
The Mantaverse is Growing
The numbers speak for themselves: over 1 million daily transactions and 60 million total transactions have been recorded on Manta Pacific. With more than 250 projects now deployed, Manta Pacific has become a hub for high-performance dApps across various sectors.
To support this growth, the Manta Foundation launched a $50 million EcoFund, providing direct investments and grants to projects building on Manta Pacific.

Our commitment to providing yield opportunities and rewards for the Manta community continues to drive innovation on Manta Pacific. Here are some of our most impactful activations over the past year:
New Paradigm
New Paradigm on Manta Pacific was a groundbreaking initiative, being the first L2 to introduce composability for yield-bearing tokens. New Paradigm brought unparalleled efficiency and rewards for users depositing ETH and stablecoins. As a result, Total Value Locked (TVL) surged from $30 million to over $2.4 billion, showcasing the immense success of the campaign.
Manta CeDeFi
In collaboration with Ceffu (formerly Binance Custody), we launched Manta CeDeFi, combining the strengths of CeFi and DeFi, offering users institutional-grade compliance and yield opportunities. Within just two weeks of its launch, Manta CeDeFi reached over $120 million in TVL.
Gas Gain
The first program in Web3 to give back to users, 50% of the gas profits from Manta Pacific will be converted to $MANTA and shared among the top 400 players with the highest points. In addition, the Manta Foundation allocated 10M $MANTA tokens (1% of total supply) over the next four years for rewards to the most active Gas Gainers.
Manta Expedition
Bridge from Ethereum or other L2s to Manta Pacific. Complete quests across over 10 DeFi protocols on Manta Pacific, earn points, and unlock MANTA rewards at the end of the Manta Expedition.
[Technical Innovations]
MultiDA Integration
As the first L2 to integrate multiple Data Availability (DA) solutions — including EigenDA, NEAR DA, and others — Manta Pacific has set a new standard for enhanced uptime and resilience.
Fast Finality
We’re committed to providing fast and secure transaction finality on Manta Pacific. DappLink is bringing Fast Finality to Manta Pacific, enhancing our ecosystem’s ability to deliver rapid transaction settlement, ensuring an exceptional user experience.
STOP Program
Our partnership with BlockSec to launch the Sequencer Threat Overwatch Program (STOP) marks a significant advancement in L2 security. By integrating BlockSec’s Phalcon engine, we’re safeguarding Manta Pacific against potential threats at the sequencer level.
[Building Community and Culture]
MEMEta Szn: Celebrating Culture and Community
This summer, we kicked off MEMEta Szn, focusing on building a strong, organic community. Our partnership with BONK has brought together the Ethereum and Solana communities in an unprecedented way, fostering a sense of fun and engagement on Manta Pacific.
Special shoutout to Gull Network and Elfin Games for their contributions to MEMEta Szn. Your efforts have made this season even more exciting.
Manta AI
In collaboration with Celestia, ORA, and Hyperbolic, we’ve brought full-scale AI development to Manta Pacific. From training to deployment, our Manta AI tools and infra empower builders with the resources they need to deploy AI applications on Manta Pacific.
Bringing RWAs to Manta Pacific
Through RWAs like wUSDM, a yield-bearing stablecoin now backed by BlackRock’s BUIDL Fund, we’ve introduced secure, yield-bearing opportunities on Manta Pacific. This milestone reflects our commitment to bridging traditional finance and the blockchain space.
